The National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) ( is excited to announce its class lineup for the 2020 drag racing season. Always looking to improve the events for both racers and fans, the NMCA made a few changes to the lineup. NMCA will have 10 points championship classes in 2020.

2020 NMCA Championship Points Classes:

Xtreme Pro Mod
Factory Super Cars
N/A 10.5
Nitrous Pro Street
Xtreme Street
Chevrolet Performance Stock
S3 (Stock/Super Stock Combo)
Nostalgia Super Stock
Nostalgia Muscle Car
Open Comp
True Street – All 6 Events (NON-Points class)
Dodge//Mopar Hemi Shootout – All 6 Events (NON-Points class)
Chevrolet Performance Stock Challenge – All 6 Events (NON-Points class)

The 2020 NMCA season will include several new Shootout classes that will debut at the Mickey Thompson Saturday Night Radial Shootout at the NMCA St Louis event at World Wide Technology Raceway (Madison, IL). More information will be released shortly on this new Mickey Thompson program that will include the following classes:

Radial vs the World (DXP RVW rules)
Limited Drag Radial (LDR Rules and LDR Championship Point Event)
Street Outlaw (NMCA rules)
NMCA Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw will also be contested as shootouts at these events –

NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals at Atlanta Dragway (Commerce, GA)
NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street-Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, IL)
Once again, Aerospace Components will have a major presence at all NMCA events as winners will hoist up their Victor trophies in the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle.
