Ron Muenks of Stafford, Missouri, topped a stellar field of Mid-West Pro Mods entries on Saturday, June 20, at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois. Muenks defeated Tommy Cunningham of Murry, Kentucky, in the final round of eliminations. To face Cunningham in the final, Muenks defeated Wayne Roberts in the first round of eliminations, Judd Coffman in the second and No. 1 Qualifier Aaron Wells in the third. In the third round of eliminations, Muenks set the fastest time of the meet with a 3.67-sec. pass.

The Mid-West Slammers Second-Chance Race was won by Jeff Rudolf of Bloomberg, Illinois, over Chad Green of Midland, Texas.

Phillip Oakley of Philpot, Kentucky, defeated Matthew Sackman of Channabon, Illinois, in the Mid-West Top Dragster final.

The Mid-West Top Sportsman final round of eliminations fell to Mark McDonald of Boonville, Illinois over Rich Smith of Wentzville, Missouri.

Earl Stanley of Richmond, Kentucky, won the X-275 class by defeating Eric Moore of Sanger, Texas, in the final round of eliminations.

Tyler Wells of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, won the Sportsman Jr. Dragster class over Brian Hess of Ely, Iowa.

Pro Jr. Dragster honors went to Brianna Chancer of Bixbey, Oklahoma, who defeated Canton, Illinois’ Lilly Kinne.

John Gibbons of Wright City, Missouri, piloted his yellow 1968 Mercury to victory in the Mother Road Nostalgia Sportsman category.

Tommy Barbero of Wentzville, Missouri, won the Mother Road Nostalgia No-Box category over Jason McCague of Ballwin, Missouri.

The Box vs. No-Box Challenge was won by Collinsville, Illinois’ Steve Schneider over John Ratulowski of Highland, Illinois.
