June 9, 2018, St. Louis Region – Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois, today announced its 2019 NASCAR Truck Series date: Saturday, June 22, 2019. Additionally, NASCAR has changed the name of the series to the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Series.

“We are pleased once again to be a part of the NASCAR’s Gander Outdoors Truck Series,” said Chris Blair, Gateway Motorsports Park’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. “Five years ago, when we signed our first agreement with NASCAR, a lot of people thought we would be a one-year experiment. This proves we are a longstanding fixture and important part of NASCAR’s racing program. Events like the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, INDYCAR, NHRA and our ARCA event are very important in developing the future of motorsports in St. Louis. If we continue to demonstrate how much the fans love the racing at Gateway Motorsports Park, other opportunities may come our way for bigger and better events.”

Gateway Motorsports Park’s annual NASCAR weekend will begin on Friday, June 22 with the Papa Nicholas 150 for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. The annual Villa Lighting delivers the Eaton 200 presented by CK Power NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race follows on Saturday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
