Carl’s 4WD & Performance ET Bracket Series entry fees: $80. First or second round buy-backs: $40. ($5 from  race entry goes to 2021 point fund).

Purse: $1,500 winner, $500 runner-up, $150 semi-final, $100 quarter-final. Runner-up, semi-final and quarter-final payout based on 40 entries in first round of eliminations.

General regulations (following NHRA North Central Div. 3 general guidelines):

Super Pro: (3.66-7:75 sec. Note: NHRA D3 Finals E.T. break is 4.30-7.75.

Compulink TruSTART and crosstalk will be utilized.

Computer: Prohibited unless stock vehicle by new car manufacturer. See general regulations 9:1.

Data recorders are permitted. See general regulations 9:2 & 9:10.

Delay boxes are permitted. All direct wiring must be clearly identifiable to the tech inspector. See general regulations 8:2 for more information.

Trans-brake is permitted.

Four-wheel line lock is permitted.

Automated shifter is permitted.

Throttle control is permitted.

Ignition: Stutter boxes are prohibited. Starting line and or “high side” rev limiters are permitted.

Two-steps, rev limiters or any other RPM-limiting devices, legal unto themselves but altered or installed so as to function as a down-track rpm controller, are prohibited.

Switches and buttons: All switches and/or buttons must be standard mechanical connection type. Infrared laser, retinal scan, fingerprint, light source or any other non-mechanical type of switch and/or button prohibited.

NHRA license is required if car runs 6.39 sec. or quicker.

 

PRO

Ignition: Stutter boxes are prohibited. Starting line and/or “high side” rev limiters are permitted. Two steps, rev limiters or any other RPM-limiting devices, legal unto themselves but altered or installed so as to function as a down-track RPM controller are prohibited.

SPORTSMAN

Sportsman (12.00-19.99 for ¼-mile).

Any other RPM-limiting devices, legal unto themselves but altered or installed so as to function as a down-track rpm controller are prohibited.

Your eight (8) best races of 10 will be counted toward the championship.

Entry fee: $40. First or second-round buy-back: $20. ($5 from  race entry goes to 2021 point fund).

Purse: $150 winner, $50 runner-up. Run-off: Thunder winner will race Lightning winner.

General regulations (following NHRA North Central Div. 3 general guidelines):

Thunder

Ages 6-7: 13.90 sec. or slower.

Ages 8-9: 11.90 sec. or slower.

Ages 10-12: 8.90 or slower.

Lightning

Ages 13-18:

Whose cars meet Advanced class criteria restricted to 7.90 sec. and slower, and 85 mph or slower.

Those cars that do not meet Advanced class criteria restricted to 8.90 sec. and slower.

WWTR E.T. Series Point Fund:

Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Willis Racing Pro Motorcycle, Jr. Dragsters:

50% to champion, 20% to runner-up, 15% to third place, 10% to fourth place, 5% to fifth place.

Your eight (8) best races of 10 will be counted toward the championship.

Sign-up for points: $60 per class before April 1. ($50 goes to the points fund); $75 per class after April 1. ($50 goes to the points fund).

$30 goes to the 2021 point fund and $30 goes to the North Central ET Finals Fund.

Reserved pit spaces: Space is reserved for each points weekend and the special bracket event weekends. $175 for the 2021 season.

MIDWEST E.T. ALL-STAR SERIES

Points: Your best 9 races of 11 will count toward the championship.

Race dates: April 17, May 22, June 26, July 31, September 11.

Additional Midwest ET races: July 1, (Thurs), July 2, July 3, October 15, October 16, October 17.

Purse:

Top Eliminator (based on 65 entries): $5,000 winner, $500 runner-up.

Top Eliminator (based on 33-64 entries and guaranteed): $3,000 winner, $500 runner-up.

Motorcycle (based on 65 entries): $3,000 winner, $250 runner-up.

Motorcycle (based on 33-64 entries and guaranteed): $1,500, $250 runner-up.

$50 per round win, starting with third-round win.

Note:  July 1 and 2 is $5,000 to win Top Eliminator; $1000 to win Motorcycle. July 3 is $10,000 to win Top Eliminator; $2,500 to win Motorcycle.

Entry fees for Midwest ET:

Car or Motorcycle: $105 if competing in at least one bracket race and purchased at the same time. Or, $125 if competing only in the Saturday night Midwest ET race.

General rules:

Top Eliminator

Double entries permitted with multi-color tech card system.

Top Eliminator buy-backs: $75. (First round only if more than 150 entries). First or second round only if 65-149 entries. First and second round 64 entries or less.

NHRA Specialty Programs

North Central Division NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals

Forty (40) drivers and two (2) High School racers entered in the points will represent WWTR at the North Central Division NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals, held at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis on September 17-19. Double entries are permitted. Each qualified team member will receive a team shirt and free car-and-driver entry.

 

NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals

Any racer wishing to participate at the NHRA JDRL Eastern Conference to be held at Bristol Dragway, July 15-17, 2021, should contact George Whitaker (George.Whitaker@wwtraceway.com). Participants will receive a complimentary team t-shirt.

 

NHRA Summit Racing Junior Dragster Challenge

FLC Junior Dragster Class Winners each will receive a special NHRA trophy for winning their respective class on Sunday, September 12.

 

NHRA Summit Racing King Of The Track

Class winners will be eligible to enter a run-off held on September 12. The run-off winner will win a Wally trophy and King of The Track hat.

 

NHRA.tv Challenge

FLC class winners each will receive a Wally trophy for winning their respective class at the Night Under Fire on September 11.

 

 

Typical weekend schedule  for Carl’s ET Bracket Series and Midwest ET All-Star Series:

Friday

4 p.m. – Pit gates open.

5:30 p.m. – Test ‘n’ Tune.

7 p.m. – Index, Heads-up, Street Motorcycle qualifying/time trial. Bar opens.

8 p.m. – First round of Index, Heads-up, Street Motorcycle.

9 p.m. – First round of Gambler ($20 entry, no buy-backs).

9:30 p.m. – Gate closed. (Those who purchased advance PitPay will be permitted to enter, all others will stack until Saturday morning.)

10 p.m. – Testing concludes (Gambler race run until complete). Practice tree tournament in bar, kids and adults Big Wheel races in the Wedge.

11 p.m. – Track closed.

Midnight – Bar closed.

 

Saturday

7 a.m. – Pit gate open for new arrivals.

8 a.m. – Jr. Dragster time trial (1 run).

8:30 a.m. – Bracket time trial (1 run guaranteed, second optional based on car count).

11 a.m. – Bracket eliminations. Note: Midwest E.T. All-Star Time Trial between quarters and semis of bracket points eliminations.

5:30 p.m. – Conclude bracket race.

6 p.m. – Midwest E.T. All-Star eliminations. Bar opens. Cash payouts for Saturday races only. Concessions: $2 beer and $2 hot dog specials.

6 p.m. – Gate closed. (Those who purchased advance PitPay will be permitted to enter, all others will stack until Sunday morning.)

7 p.m. – Cornhole tournament in bar. Kids and adults Big Wheel races in Wedge area.

11:45 p.m. – Conclude racing.

Midnight – Bar closed. Payouts and winners’ photos conclude 30 minutes after last pair.
