World Wide Technology Raceway partners with IdealSeat

WWTR is the first motorsports facility to utilize this technology

AI-based platform will launch with WWTR’s AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals

September 19, 2019, St. Louis Region – World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, today announced a partnership with IdealSeat, a technology company that helps sports teams and venues provide detailed fan experience recommendations and then builds artificial intelligence-based profiles for follow-up through IdealSeat’s Fan Intelligence™ platform.

Now racing fans and first-time visitors to World Wide Technology Raceway will have the ability to input their preferred event package and experience interests online for real-time ticket recommendations that best suit their needs. The technology is the result of using artificial intelligence (AI) to collect and analyze nearly one  billion data points about the fans and sports venues. It provides fans and guests the ability to explore areas of the venue that feature family-friendly seating, seating for avid race fans, shaded options and the best food and beverages.

“We are excited be the very first motorsports facility to utilize this exclusive technology to offer enhanced experiences to our fans,” said Chris Blair, WWTR’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. “IdealSeat’s AI technology will enable our guests to create a personalized  experience at our facility for maximum entertainment and enjoyment of our major events.”

Fans may now see IdealSeat Fan Intelligence™ recommendations for WWTR live at wwtraceway.idealseat.com.

“Our mission at IdealSeat is to create a better relationship between venues and their fans” said Joel Carben, CEO of IdealSeat. “We believe World Wide Technology Raceway with their focus on providing a world-class fan experience is an ideal partner and are looking forward to growing the racing fan base in St. Louis.”
