The National Hot Rod Association’s 2019 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule has been released and for the St. Louis region it’s like the homecoming of an old friend. The National Hot Rod Association’s Mello Yello Drag Racing Series will make its annual trek to Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois during the final weekend of September 2019.
Gateway Motorsports Park’s NHRA national event date has moved back to its familiar, popular weekend: September 27-29.
“We are pleased to return to our traditional date for the 2019 season,” said Chris Blair, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Gateway Motorsports Park. “September is perfect for NHRA drag racing in St. Louis and we’re looking forward to continuing our tradition of delivering great shows.”
