August 12 – Some new faces graced victory lane at Gateway Motorsports Park’s Dragplex in Madison, Illinois on August 12. Kevin Johnson of Foristel, Missouri turned in an .002 reaction time and won the Super Pro final over Jason Phillips. And winless Dan Helmsing St. Clair, Missouri came out of retirement to score his very first final-round win.
